NOTE There is a picture of a straight-handled epee on the website. The first choice is the A1 grip, and it's a pistol grip. So be careful and open the drop down menu to get the handle you want. If necessary, see the handle section separately. An excellent handle for juniors for the first epee is the THIN straight French handle
Miniepee blade sizes 0 and 2. Up to the U12 series, the maximum blade length is second, 825cm. Blade size 0 for under 10-year-olds and blade size 2 for 10-12-year-olds. The size of the fencer/swordsmith is a more significant criterion than age. A blade that is too long makes it difficult to learn the correct technique.
Youth epee blade size 3. Age recommendation for over 12 years. In the over U12 series, the length of the blade is not limited in the competition. I still recommend a mini dodger for a triple size blade, but in this regard, some clubs also have an adult dodger as a practice.
You can choose the right-handed or left-handed handle for these epees, but the light straight handle is sure to fit everuone's hand. A straight handle is said to be very good at learning the right grip. In the following swords, you can then switch to orthopedic, i.e. pistol grips.
Both mini (always) and junior races (most often) use a slightly smaller guard. Only felt guard padding fit well inside the mini guard. If you want a SUOMI padding, we will cut its circumference a little smaller. Note that with the guard size of adults, the sword becomes more rear-weighted.
